Positive change in a historically marginalized community, like the Bayview, starts with people and partnership. Through our partnership with many community-based organizations and the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Regional Community Benefits Initiative, we are able to recognize deserving people, HEROES, who work in our community to make a healthier Bayview a reality. Everyday, they work toward our collective goal of liberating our population from diseases directly correlated to unhealthy eating habits and environmental stressors.
