Africans have a thing called Ubuntu: it is about the essence of being human, it is part of the gift that Africa is going to give the world. It embraces hospitality, caring about others, being willing to go that extra mile for the sake of another. We believe that a person is a person through other persons; that my humanity is caught up and bound up in yours. When I dehumanize you, I inexorably dehumanize myself. The solitary human being is a contradiction in terms, and, therefore, you seek to work for the common good because your humanity comes into its own in community, in belonging.” - Desmond Tutu (The right to Hope: global problems, global vision, 1995).
As a graduate of the National Holistic Institute, I have practiced complementary holistic health education and massage therapy for over 15 years. In 2001, I opened and operated the Holistic Health Center of Stockton. The center was open for 4 years, offering everything from meditation, herbalism, Doula services, and acupuncture, just to name a few. All services were offered on a sliding scale basis. One mission of the center was to bring "Holistic Health to the Hood". Beyond the center, I have continued to offer my holistic health, massage therapy and Doula services to the community as the sole propriety of BHealthy Bholistic. As an independent contractor, I have created and developed curriculum for California University of Stanislaus, (Wellness Works Program), Stockton Parks and Recreation, and Hunters Point Family, just to name a few. I have also taught and certified students in Zen Shiatsu and Swedish massage and Best Doula Practices with The Holistic Life Institute of Oakdale, CA. I am excited to continue to offer my Farmers Market Basket of Services to you.
Services Offered
Doula Services | Rates: Starting at $100
Belly casts are most often made toward the end of the third trimester of pregnancy, though a series of casts may also be made during the pregnancy. They are made by preparing the skin with a coating of Vaseline or a similar lubricant and adding strips of wet plaster gauze over the abdomen to make the cast. Some women also cast their breasts, arms, hands and thighs into a full torso sculpture. The plaster sets in about 20–30 minutes but some fast-setting strips set in five minutes. Once set, the cast is gently removed by the mother using a wriggling motion. It takes one or two days for the cast to dry completely.

Circles | Restorative Justice Circles
A peace circle is a Restorative Justice model that, like other Restorative Justice practices, can be used to address conflict holistically and solve problems. Peace circles emphasize healing and learning through a collective group process, aiming to repair harm done and assign responsibility by talking through the problem. Peace circles combine victim reconciliation, offender responsibility, and community healing.
